Is it possible that God is examining the "posture" of the modern day churches? What does God see when He looks down? A bunch of Christians sitting back and relaxing? Or that of a standing army of the Lord?
The church is suppose to be functioning as a unit to help the saints and save sinners. But, our modern churches have gotten the characteristics of lazy disposition and worldly imaginations. Some have forgotten to take a stand for anything; they just bow down to everything the world says.
A sitting church is not going to get the job done. God wants a seeking church! An attentive church! A ready church! A church with the attitude of a servant and the posture of a soldier- one who is proud to be a witness working with the power of the Holy Spirit.
