One of my dearest friends, Jennifer Brimer, had her 35th birthday. Her son, Kaleb, was very excited about it!
"Hey mom!" he said, "Since it's your birthday and you're 50 and all, you can cook us and extra special dinner!"
Jenn laughed at the suggestion that anything over 20 was translated to 50 in his 5 year old mind.
Kaleb went on to suggest that she go ahead and bake herself a nice birthday cake for the family to enjoy. His little heart was crushed when she responded, "I don't make cakes for myself!"
Congrats on your 50th (35th) birthday, Jenn! We love you!
