Moses And Elijah In The Tribulation

 After the 144,000 are called up to God and His throne, the world is filled with darkness as Satan inhabits the body of the assassinated Man of Sin and resurrects him. This is referred to as the Great Tribulation.

This will be when the Mark of the Beast is forced upon mankind under the threat of death or starvation. 

Revelation 13:15-18- And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Can you imagine the turmoil? After millions of Christians disappeared three and half a years ago and the world has gone through devastation, another batch of people disappear! Then a man who was supposed to be their uniting savior has now issued martial law and the death penalty for any who oppose his dictatorial statutes.

Revelation 6:9-11- And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

What's worse than being killed for non-compliance? How about losing your soul? The antichrist will be able to capture the souls of those who are killed for refusing to accept the Mark of the Beast. He will keep them captive under the altar until the end of his reign.

Who are their brethren that will be killed as they were? Other believers, yet, but this is referring to two men in particular. God is merciful. He won't leave those who still want the truth without His guidance. 

Revelation 11:3-6- And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

These two men are Moses and Elijah who visited Jesus on the mount of transfiguration and were also prophesied by Malachi.

Mark 9:2-4- And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

Moses first plague was turning water to blood. This, along with him appearing with Jesus, is why the believe this second man is Moses. But the verse in the Old Testament references Moses, too.

Malachi 4:4-6- Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

It is important to note that the Law of Moses is told be kept in remembrance during this time. It's a faith and works set up!

Moses and Elijah preach outside Jerusalem for the last three and a half years, sending plagues and killing those who attack them, until God says their witness is complete and allows the Antichrist the power to destroy them.

Revelation 11:7-12- And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 

This has been prophesied by God as the way these two witnesses will be killed, just like all those who refused the Mark of the Beast! But it won't be the end of them. 

Revelation 11:11-13- And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

After three and a half days, they raise from the dead and lead the souls who were trapped under the altar to heaven. This is the beginning of the end for the Antichrist. Those who have seen this will have no choice but to acknowledge that there is a God in heaven, and the realization that He and His armies are coming is terrifying!

Who Are The 144,000?

 There's a lot of misconception with things relating to the Tribulation. Until recently, descriptions in the Bible referencing that time period were difficult to understand. How could nations view the dead bodies of two men on the streets in Jerusalem before the advent of satellite TV? The truth is that we are just now catching up to some things mentioned in the Bible.

One of those misunderstood things is the 144,000 mentioned in the book of Revelation. If you've ever run into a Jehovah's Witness, they more than likely told you that they were one of that number, even though there have been more than 144 thousand JW's!

So, what does the Bible say about them?

Revelation 7:4- And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

The Bible says that God has 144,000 people that He seals. They are 12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel.

Revelation 14:1-5- And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

God defines these as male (not defiled with women) virgins.

These Jewish male virgins show up at the beginning of the Tribulation. They will be converted like Paul was on the road to Damascus- called by God personally to preach His Word to the people left behind.

Revelation 12:1-2- And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

Many people say that this is Mary giving birth to Jesus. That's not correct. If you look back in Genesis when Joseph is having his dream, the interpretation was the sun is their dad, the moon is their mom, and the twelve stars were his brothers. So, this women in Revelation is national Israel.

Revelation 12:5-6- And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

This man child is the 144,000 Jewish male virgins. They are raptured up to heaven in the mid-tribulation rapture (caught up to God and to his throne) and the nation of Israel enters the Great Tribulation where Moses and Elijah show up to preach the last three and a half years.

The Bible is an amazing book where God has some mysteries hidden for those who will search. He will sometimes put both the first and second advent into one verse, and those who study can learn to rightly divide and find the secrets that God has for those who will endure the time and effort that it requires.

Micha 5:2-3- But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

This verse is a perfect example of this concept. The first verse (2) is Christ which the Bible tells us in Matthew 2:6. The second verse, however, is the 144,000. The woman travailing in labor is almost always a reference to the Jews in the tribulation, as is the mention of a remnant.

Jeremiah 30:6-7- Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

National Israel travails in the Tribulation and the 144,000 are born from the nation. As God pours out his wrath on the world, there will be those who will spread His Word to those who are still here. God will take those men from the world during the worst part of the Tribulation- the reign of Satan as the Antichrist, the man of perdition.

Isaiah 26:16-21- LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them. Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD. We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

But God won't leave those left without a witness. When the mid-tribulation takes those who have oil in their lamps; He sends Moses and Elijah to preach to those left behind.

Healthy Minute- Reset Your Gut For Better Health

 Our gut is being referred to as the second brain. The bacteria in the gut can actually send signals to our brain and tell us to crave things when your body needs something. If your gut is full of rouge bacteria then it can send signals to crave sugar and junk foods, but if it is full of good bacteria then it will let you know when you need specific nutrients through a craving for certain foods.

Our gut biome houses many different microorganisms. In fact, there is more bacteria in your gut than cells in your body! These bacteria can have an effect on our hormones- in fact, dopamine, melatonin, and serotonin all begin in the gut.

The link between our microbiome and our immune system is strong. In fact, when there is an imbalance in the gut, it will generally show up in the skin in the form of acne, eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea. This is because there is also a skin biome that is your body's first line of defense. When the skin barrier is showing signs of distress it means that internally your immune system is out of balance. When you heal your gut, you'll find that your skin will begin to clear up.

If you are going to have an impact on your gut, then you are going to need to change your perception of certain foods. We need to remove the foods that can harm the gut biome and replace them with foods that help the gut biome. Healing our gut will take some time.

The main rules to follow for gut health:

• No processed foods
• No dairy
• No GMO soy 
• No Corn
• Avoid all wheats and grans
• Avoid natural and processed sugars as well as sugar substitutes
• No emulsifying agents
• No alcohol
• Try to get 30 different plant foods each week

If you are allergic to any specific food groups- eggs, peanuts, etc- make sure that you completely eliminate them from your diet.

Emulsifying agents such as polysorbate80, carboxymethylcellulose, carrageenan, lecithin, and sodiumstearoly lactylate can have an adverse effect on the mucosal lining of your small intestines. You need this mucus to keep the bad bacteria from permeating the intestinal wall.

The body has an amazing ability to heal itself. However, over time if we don't take care of it and nourish it properly then that ability will be stunted, and we will start to develop problems. The GAPS diet is an amazing way to heal your gut biome and is very close to what I am mentioning here. Only I give a few more details in this post.

The main triggers for gut dysbiosis and food intolerances are the above-mentioned ones. An elimination diet, where you remove these foods from your diet for a month, then slowly add them back in will help you identify which foods you react to. Some foods can be reintroduced once your gut has healed; some you will find that you need to avoid for the foreseeable future.

Other foods to limit would be caffeine, or coffee, plus pork. 

Foods to add in would be fermented foods like kimchi, kefir, or kombucha. Plus, getting the correct amount of water for your body (half your weight in ounces). 

Kefir is amazing for helping to repopulate your gut biome with good bacteria and yeasts. It can stay alive in the stomach and pass into the intestines where it takes up residence and gets to working helping clean up the neighborhood!

You will also want to manage stress levels. You can do this by getting at least 5 minutes of sunshine a day, take time to breathe and relax, and get some good low-impact workouts in each day.

Foods to include in your diet if you aren't allergic to them:

• L-Glutamine
• Collagen
• Bone Broth
• Gelatin
• Moringa
• Ashwaghanda
• Ginger
• Chia Seeds
• Flax seeds
• Pumpkin Seeds
• Hemp Seeds
• Curcumin
• Capsaicin
• ProBiotics  and PreBiotics like FOS
• Liquid coconut oil

Bone broth and gelatin should become staples in your dietary regimen. Both contain collagen that helps with anti-aging, and when you hit 40 you're going to need to start adding that into your diet. Not only do these help with your digestive and skin health, but they also helps with your bones and connective tissue! So, why wouldn't you want to make this a daily part of your dietary regimen? 

Try to get good fats and oils- like coconut and olive oil (not heated)- in your daily diet, along with a high does of Vitamin D (around 5,000 units) and a good dose of EPA & DHA (around 3,000 mg). Adding in around 450mg of elemental magnesium is helpful. Just make sure you get one of the following forms- malate, glycerophosphate, glycinate, chelate, or citrate, which are among the best absorbed and have the least potential for causing loose stools. If you are hypothyroid then add in a daily helping of 350 - 500 mc kelp.

Tips to help you meal plan:

• Keep it simple.
• Repeat recipes.
• Keep lots of fruits and veggies on hand.
• Make sure you have enough kefir and bone broth to add into your smoothies and meals.
• Prep a day in advance.

Another good idea is to keep a food journal and track how you feel after eating certain foods. Did you sleep well? Was there cramping or excess gas? Did you break out in acne or a rash? A food journal helps to identify what foods you ate when these problems occurred. 

It's not impossible to be a healthy adult or to raise healthy kids! In general, it takes about 9 weeks to start seeing improvement (if your gut microbiome is severely damaged it could take up to 6 months before you see results). Detox symptoms could include nausea, headaches, sleeplessness, itching, or emotional mood swings like anxiety, depression, or even fatigue. These can begin around days 3 to 5 (and again around days 30 to 40 in those with severe microbiome damage).

History Repeats Itself

Esther is a well known story in the Bible. She's a Jewish girl who is being raised by her uncle. Esther is her Persian name, which means Star. Her Hebrew name is Hadassah, which means myrtle.

In the story, the Gentile queen, Vashti, has refused the king's command to appear. Her name means beautiful one. The king only wanted to show off her beauty- nothing wrong with his request (though some people like to put a wicked spin on it). However, Vashti was having a banquet of her own and didn't want to leave her companions just to show her pretty face for her husband. For this, she lost her position as queen.

This book is very prophetical in many things. First, it's showing the Gentile Queen being replaced with a Jewish Queen- like when the church age dispensation is over and God goes back to dealing mainly with the Jewish people during the Tribulation.

Names have meanings. Many times in the old days, people were named because of the meaning of the word and not necessarily that the parents thought the name was pretty.

Haman is the villain of the story. He comes on scene after the transition from Vashti to Esther happens- prophecy of the antichrist showing up after the rapture of the church.

Haman is furious that Esther's uncle, Mordecai, won't bow down to him. He doesn't know that it's the Queen's uncle because she has kept her heritage a secret. So, when Haman finds out that Mordecai is a Jew, he seeks revenge on the entire nationality.

First, let's look at Haman's heritage. He's an Agagite- a descendant of Agag, whom the Israelites under King Saul were suppose to eradicate. Saul didn't kill Agag, and when Samuel confronted him about it he came up with excuses.

I Samuel 15:9- But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Later, you learn that Agag wasn't the only Amalekite that Saul didn't kill. There were those who attacked David's village while he and his men were away; David found them and attacked them, but 400 escaped. And, there were some children of Agag the king of Amalek that survived after Samuel killed him.

So, we see this deep seated resentment towards the Jews from Haman, not only because they wouldn't show him the reverence he thought he deserved, but also because of his family's history.

Haman means unique, magnificent, illustrious. Perhaps his name made him think he was destined for greatness? He was definitely destined for infamy!

Even his children's names have interesting meanings, all are of Persian origin:

Parshandatha = curious

Dalphon = self-pity; weeping

Aspatha = self sufficient; assembled

Poratha = self indulgent; generous

Adalia = weak; humble

Aridatha = strong; assertive

Parmashta = superior; ambition

Arisai = lion like; bold

Aridai = dignified; superior

Vajezatha = self righteous

Many of these are traits that can be very dangerous. It seems that Haman not only had ambition for his own life, but also for those of his children.

In the end, Haman was hanged on his own gallows that he had built for the purpose of executing Mordecai. His sons were also hanged with him, putting an end to the vengeful heritage. 

Esther 9:13- Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this day's decree, and let Haman's ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.

But what do I mean by "history repeating itself"?

Well, in the early 1900's there was a man who was consumed by an idea of a superior master race. He thought that anyone who wasn't a part of this genetic genepool was subpar vermin that needed to be eradicated.

During World War 2, Hitler set up extermination camps for those he deemed racially impure. These camps held Jews, blacks, homosexuals, mentally and physically disabled people, and anyone who helped them. The goal was to kill off as many of these people as possible.

It is estimated that through the concentration camps, reprisal raids, terror bombings, and medical experiments, the number of people actually killed by the Nazi's and their commerades was over 15 million people (some estimators double that number).

What could lead a person to this kind of depravity?

Some say it's because a Jewish doctor tried to save her life through painful treatment, but was ultimately unsuccessful. Others believe it's because he blamed the Jews for Germany's loss during World War 1. 

There are some out there who think that Adolf Hitler himself was of Jewish descent. Knowing that the Bible prophecies that the antichrist will be of Assyrian Jewish descent, I wouldn't be surprised if these rumors were true.

Adolf is an old German name that means noble wolf. I find it interesting that he had no middle name- Adolf Hitler was his full name. 

Jeremiah 5:6- Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

It is believed that Adolf Hitler committed suicide in April of 1945. Research published by the European Journal of Internal Medicine, claims that French scientists analyzed fragments of Hitler's teeth and according to them, he ingested cyanide and then shot himself in the head.

Most people don't know about the retribution that was levied against some of his military leaders. The Nuremberg executions took place in October 1946, shortly after the end of the Nuremberg Trials. Ten prominent members of the political and military leadership of Nazi Germany were executed. The sentence was conducted by a military tribunal, so it would have been assumed that a firing squad would do the execution. However, they were sentenced to death by hanging, and it was done in the gymnasium of Nuremberg Prison by the United States Army.

History repeats itself!

The wheel of time goes around and around.

We've already talked about the prophecy of the Church Age ending. The time where God is dealing with the entire world, extending the offer of salvation by grace through faith will soon come to an end. The time of Jacob's trouble, the tribulation, where God begins dealing again with the Jewish people and their denial of His Son, their Messiah, Jesus Christ. 

The AntiChrist will show up as a smooth talking politician that unites the world in peace after a mysterious disappearance of millions, if not billions, of christians. When he gets assassinated, the world will mourn. I'm not certain if the Jews will accept him as their Messiah before or after his death, but when he comes back to life after 3 days he will claim to be the promised Messiah.

When he resurrects, he will be filled with the spirit of Judas Iscariot. Judas is a Hebrew name that means let him be praised; Iscariot is a Greek name that means man of kerioth (a place in southern Israel near the border of Edom). Judas Iscariot is both Hebrew and Greek, no middle name.

That's when hell will break loose on the surface of our planet. The first few years are going to be bad; the next few years are going to be unfathomable! Think of all the apocalyptic movies you've ever watched, and then mix them all together, and you still won't come close!

Millions will die.

But, when God comes back he will make sure that the antichrist and his 10 comrades (foretold in the book of Daniel and again in the book of Revelation) pay the punishment for what they've unleashed on humanity.

Daniel 7:7- After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Daniel 7:24- And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Revelation 13:1- And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Revelation 17:12- And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

The time is at hand.
