Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

True Family Love (video sermon)

The family is something that God created. Way back in the beginning of creation, on day 6 God made a man and a woman. That would be the foundation for the first family- a father and a mother.

Today, around 70% of children aren't raised in a family. These children don't know what a home should be. They don't understand love, or care, or how to obey because someone is looking out for your best. Too many kids are being plopped in front of the tv or dropped off at a daycare to be allowed to grow up without knowing the comfort and guidance and care of a true family.

When Christ was dying on the cross, one of his last thoughts was that of his mother's care. He made sure she would be taken care of after his death. A loving family will take care of the needs of others. They won't give them all of their wants, but they will supply all of their needs.

A true family will make sure that there are four things that children learn which will give them a happy life, a good name, and a character that will be highly esteemed among their peers. These family values will make the children a benefit to the community and the world, and will teach them to love in spite of shortcomings.

1) You'll learn to obey those in authority.

2) You'll understand that your parents aren't perfect.

3) You'll get more concerned for your parents as they get older.

4) You'll make sure you have your affairs in order before you die.
