Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting recipe

Cake:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups grated carrots
1 cup olive oil
4 eggs
1 TBS sour cream
1 cup chopped walnuts

Grease a 9X13 pan. Preheat oven to 350*
Mix dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
Add in the carrots, oil, eggs, and sour cream. Mix together until well combined.
Pour out into the greased pan, and sprinkle with the chopped walnuts.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before adding the frosting.

Frosting:
6 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
4+ cups powdered sugar

Allow cream cheese and butter to soften. Beat them together. Add the vanilla and 2 cups of the powdered sugar. Beat well until mixed. Gradually add in the other 2+ cups of powdered sugar until you reach the consistency that you like for frosting.
Frost the cooled cake.
