Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

A Mother's Heart

Once upon a time, two harlots who lived together stood before Solomon. They had each had a child around the same time. One of the women rolled over on her baby as she slept and smothered him. During the night, she swapped her dead baby with her roommate's baby.
These women came before Solomon so that he could pass judgment as to whose child this was. Solomon said that they should cut the baby in half and each woman could have a part. The Bible says that the woman whose the child was said to keep the baby alive and let the other woman have it.
By this act of love, giving up her beloved baby so that he could live, Solomon knew which was the true mother.
This woman had a mother's heart. The heart of someone who would sacrifice what she wanted for the good of her child. A heart that would do whatever was best for her baby, even if it meant that she had to walk away and leave her baby.
There's been too many stories in the news lately about women who couldn't care less about their children. It's so saddening to think of these precious souls in need of a mother's love and there isn't any for them.
But, there are other women out there who have a mother's heart. They love children that are not only born from their bodies, but children that came from someone else. These women are true mother's and they are the ones who will find a special blessing from the Lord in time to come.
Proverbs 31:10, 26-30  - Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
To all those mother's out there, for all you've done- Thank you!
