Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Lava Mug Cake recipe

If you ever want to make a simple, one person, chocolate lava cake.

Ingredients:

  • 2 TBS butter
  • 2 TBS chocolate chips
  • 2 TBS sugar
  • 4 TBS flour
  • 1 TBS dark cocoa powder
  • 3 TBS milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 TBS peanut butter chips

Directions:

Use a large wide coffee mug, about 10 oz is a good size, and make certain that it is microwave safe.

Add butter and chocolate chips to your coffee mug and microwave for 15 seconds. Stir together with a fork until it is all liquid.

Mix in the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and milk until it resembles a cake batter. You will want to scrape the sides to ensure there is nothing stuck there that didn't get mixed in.

Drop the peanut butter chips on top and press them down under the top of the dough. You don't have to push them all the way to the bottom of the cup.

Microwave for 60 to 70 seconds.

Remove from microwave and let cool for at least 5 minutes before eating. Since there's no eggs, you can use the same fork to eat it with as you did to mix it all together!

You can dust the top with powdered sugar if you like, but I prefer mine as is.
