When sorrow lingers and hearts feel torn,
Remember God’s promise: new mercies each morn.
Though loved ones are gone from the sight of your eyes,
Their souls find their rest where no shadow lies.
“Blessed are those who mourn,” Jesus said,
For His comfort will cradle each tear that you shed.
He holds every prayer, He knows every pain,
And in His great love, your hope will remain.
The grave has no victory, death has no sting,
For Christ is our life, our eternal King.
Your dear ones now walk in His radiant light,
Where joy has no end and day knows no night.
So lean on His promise, steadfast and true,
“I will never forsake or abandon you.”
Until heaven’s reunion makes all things complete,
Rest in His peace, and His love ever sweet.
