Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

A Father's Job (poem)

When in the garden Adam sinned,
The father's toil then did begin.
To learn the lesson to let go
Abraham's broken heart did know.
To worry of his children's wrong
Was constantly Job's morning song.
The heart-ache of the wayward one
Was felt by the father of the Prodigal Son.
To lose your child to that devil foe,
This pain did Judas' father know.
God the Father, himself has cried,
When Christ, his Son, was crucified.
A father's job knows many pains-
The soul of a child to lose or gain.
This precious soul is yours to mold,
His fragile future in your hands, you hold.
And when before God you stand in heaven,
An account will be made of the tie given.
The example of a Christian One
Will earn the blessed words, "Well Done"!
