Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

Healthy Minute- Rescue Remedy

A man named Dr. Bach compiled a list of 38 different flowers which he used to treat certain ailments. My favorite of these compositions is called "Rescue Remedy".
Dr. Bach found that if he combined 5 of these certain flowers that it would give the user a quick calm during stress, anxiety, or when dealing with sudden bad news. The blend is available in tincture form, spray form, and pastilles, gum, and pearl form.
I will tell you 2 certain instances where this has been a blessing!
The first was during a Hurricane. My friend was heading North to get away from the path of the storm. She stopped by my home for a few hours to contact her family and plan her route.
Her dog had a leash on, but was in their vehicle with the windows cracked. Unbeknownst to them, their son had rolled one of the windows half-way down. The dog had tangled the leash on something in the car, jumped out the window, and was strangling herself. We don't know how long she was like that, but she was panting and frantic when we found her.
We brought her inside, but she wouldn't calm down. Her breathing was rapid and she just wanted to fight us. I put a dropper full of the tincture in her mouth to see if that would help. My friend was upset because she had the dog since she and her husband had been married, and it was like one of their children.
Within about 30 minutes, the dog calmed down and we were able to help her. She lived for years after that terrifying event!
The next was when my friend was pregnant and over at my house. She got a call that her father had a heart attack. I didn't want her to panic, so I gave her a dose of Rescue Remedy (which is safe for pregnant women). A few moments later, there was a call that her father had died from the heart attack and there was nothing anyone could do. She started shaking and crying, and I was very fearful for the baby after such sudden and shocking news.
However, the Rescue Remedy kicked in a few moments later, and she was able to calmly sit down and make the necessary preparations for her mom and the funeral. The baby was born on time with no complications!
The last thing I will say about this product is that it is a homeschooling mother's miracle! When you're stressed to the max and they're just wasting time, you take a dose in your tea (yeah, it's the British in me!) and 30 minutes later you can calmly resume your day and deal with the little darlings!
Rescue Remedy is available in certain health food stores and online.
