There is a place that is worse than Hell.The following quotations are from the Lord Jesus Christ:
But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. -Matthew 8:12
Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. - Matthew 22:13b
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. -Matthew 25:30
Everyone has heard of the terrifying place called Hell. According to the Holy bible, it is located in the heart of the earth, beneath your feet at this moment.
...so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. -Matthew 12:40b
He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. -Acts 2:31
In Hell, the souls of the lost can see and communicate with others that are there.
And in hell he lift up is eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. -Luke 16:23-24
When a lost man dies, he lifts up his eyes in Hell, but Outer Darkness is something a lost soul is cast into.
This is the consummation of damnation.
... and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. -Revelation 20:13b, 14, 15
Hell only lasts until the Last Judgment, Outer Darkness is forever. Hell is like the local jail, Outer Darkness is like the prison where the final sentence is carried out. The "comforts" and "privileges" of the former won't be in the latter. Hell ain't as bad as it gets. Without Christ, your reservation s made for both.

There is a darkness which torments.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. -Exodus 10:21
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast: And his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. -Revelation 16:10-11
Darkness is where our fears and delusions get the best of us.
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. -Isaiah 66:4
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites, Who among us shall dwell with devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? -Isaiah 33:14
Outer Darkness is a place where light has never been, nor ever shall be. You ask, "How can there be fire without light?" The hottest flame gives off no light.
You can see this on a matchstick or candle. There is a spot where it appears the fire is sitting on nothing. Outer Darkness is an everlasting lake of fire. There are places on this earth, for example, the Marianna Trench (36,000 ft) where they have found shrimp, fish, and plants down there at that depth where there is no visible light, but there is at least some form of residual benefits of light which reach even this deep part of the sea.
Not in Outer Darkness.Outer Darkness is a place where the beneficial and life giving effects of light are not present. This is unimaginable. In the Antarctic where it is dark for six months out of the year, many more people sink into depression and mental anguish than those who live where there is regular sunlight. Light gives direction.
Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. -Psalms 97:11
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. -Luke 1:79
Outer Darkness is the result of a spiritual darkness within a lost soul. The darkness on the inside will be mirrored on the outside.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, they whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! -Matthew 6:22-23
Even though Hell will be excruciating for the lost soul, God's presence is still there.
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. -Psalms 139:7-8
This will not be the case in Outer Darkness. Outer Darkness is a place where the Atheist's folly is an experiential reality.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. -I John 1:5
You have never experienced this in your life... yet. It is the fulfillment of the desire of lost mankind.
Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. -Job 21:14
God will not be there. The lost soul is a successful rebel. But at what cost? Just to prove his stupid point of self-righteous pride? After all that God has done to provide a way to save him, he ends up shaking his fist in rebellion and eats of the fruit of his own way. But in so doing, he loses his soul.
What happens when a soul is lost? That spark of divinity, that life which God placed in Adam at his creation, the image of God that man was created in is lost forever in Outer Darkness. Your soul will lost all traces of it's humanity.
The Lord Jesus Christ quoted Isaiah 66:24 more than any other verse in the Old Testament: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. -Mark 9:44,46,48
The lost soul is conformed to Satan's image, that of a serpent, a worm, or specifically, a red maggot (bind him hand and foot).
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? -Mark 8:36
The loss of one's soul is the ultimate tragedy, because it is not God's desire for anyone to be lost. It doesn't have to happen!
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. -II Peter 3:9
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. -Revelation 20:10
God gives man a free will to make choices. This comes at an awful price if the wrong choice is made. God considers the great glories of Eternal life to be well worth the risk even though some might choose the wrong way.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. -Matthew 7:13-14
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. -Proverbs 14:12
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. -John 14:6
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. -John 3:19
If eternal life is to know and enjoy God's presence, then eternal death is to be forever deprived of it,
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand. Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: --Matthew 25:41
We all deserve to be forsaken by God, but so far, He has never done this to anyone except the Lord Jesus Christ. When He suffered on the cross as a substitute in your place, He suffered the eternal agonies of Outer Darkness. He gave His soul to save yours.
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? But I am a worm, and no man: a reproach of men, and despised of the people. -Psalm 22:1, 6
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the soil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. -Isaiah 53:12
The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ wants to save you today.
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. -Revelation 1:18
Don't let this supreme act of love and mercy towards you be in vain by rejection the gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. -II Corinthians 5:21
God has made only one way possible for you to be saved and live forever with Him. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only Savior.
Who hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. -I Timothy 6:16
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. -II Corinthians 4:3,4
Do you believe the gospel?
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: wich is the second death. -Revelation 21:8
Don't be a fool. The Almighty God that created both the feelings of pleasure and of dread and that has the power to provide you with an eternity of either is willing now to make a deal with you. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ while you have the chance. Once you die, it will be too late to change your mind. Do it now.
