Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

In Due Season

A person who has asked Christ to apply His sacrifice for sin to their sin debt has some amazing things to look forward to- in due time.

Those who reject Christ's sacrifice also have some things they should expect.

In due season God's mercy and longsuffering will cease.
Galatians 6:7- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
The world calls it Karma, or getting your just desserts, but the Bible calls it reaping what you've sown.
God sees it all. Just because He forebears in bringing down the hammer to give you a chance to repent doesn't mean He didn't notice.
Ecclesiastes 12:14- For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
There will come a recompense!

In due season this dispensation of grace will end.
God has certain time periods throughout history. They go in an interesting order where the first matches the last down to the middle which is unique. We are currently in this middle time period called the dispensation of grace. However, that grace isn't going to last forever!
Romans 11:25-For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
The fulness of the Gentiles ends with the Church of Christ being removed from this world to allow Satan to take over. This time period is known as the Tribulation, or the time of Jacob's trouble. And you don't want to be here!
Jeremiah 30:7- Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
Revelation 12:12b- Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
All who stand against him will be killed.

In due season God will fulfill his promised prophesies.
Not only will the devil be ruling with a murderous tyranny, but God will be pouring out His built-up wrath against unrepentant sinners.
Isaiah 13:9- Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Nature will be destroyed. Anything beautiful and good will be gone. Mankind's hearts will fail them, and they will find no rest because they rejected God's mercy when it was extended and now it's no longer available.

In due season there will be a reaping.
Call it Karma. Call it just desserts. The Bible foretells that everyone will be judged and receive a recompense.
Ecclesiastes 12:14- For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Daniel 12:2- And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Death is not the end. It may appear to be a wonderful escape, but in reality it will only be the final nail in the eternal coffin.
Revelation 20:12,15- And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In due season ignorance will cease and the scales of justice will be weighed against your soul. There's a fine line between love and hate; that line is called "rejection".
Hebrews 2:3- How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;
The answer is- you won't.
