My mom pulled up to the drive-thru of a fast-food restaurant and ordered coffee. She asked the clerk to put some ice cubes in the cup so that she could drink the coffee more quickly without worrying about burning herself.
At the window, there was a delay. We waited and waited, wondering what was going on.
Finally, a teen-aged girl came to the window looking frustrated. "Sorry for the wait, but, the ice keeps melting."
