Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

Shrimp Chowder recipe

2 cups chopped potatoes
1 cup chicken stock
1 stick butter
chopped onions and garlic to taste
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup half-n-half
1 can creamed corn
2 tsp chicken seasoning
salt to taste
1 1/2 lbs shrimp
Cook potatoes in chicken stock and mash.
In a separate pot saute the onion and garlic in the butter. Add the cream cheese and half-n-half- I like to use the blender on the cream cheese and half-n-half so there's no lumps. Mix in the corn and seasonings. When hot, add shrimp and cook until shrimp is pink. Turn stove top off.
Add in the mashed potatoes and mix well.
This recipe is good topped with bacon and shredded cheddar cheese!
