Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

The God We Can Know book review

I received this book for free when I ordered my kid's school books this past time.
The God We Can Know is sort of like a devotional written by Rob Fuquay that expounds more on the I Am sayings of Christ. There are accompanying guides and other materials that can be used along with this study series that can be gotten here if you so wish.
The first thing I noticed about this book is that it does not use the King James Version. In stead, all the scripture comes from the New Revised Standard Version. As such, I found that this was very weak, or milky. Not something that an advanced Christian can really sink his teeth into.
However, it does give you something to ponder, or maybe search out on your own if you should so desire. The questions at the end of each chapter give you some guidance on how to study deeper.
This book may be good for a young Christian who wants to further their understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ, though I would advise that each verse be looked up in the King James.
