Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

Redemption (poem)

He died for my sins on a cross, so they say,
In His holy body He bore them away.
So cruel a death, such an innocent, He,
As the nails through His flesh were driven for me.
My sin, oh the shame, that He must have felt
As His back in the courtyard I beat with a belt.
The crime it was mine, but the sentence He paid.
As the lash I laid on, He entreatingly said,
"My Father, forgive. Don't remember his crime
For, Father, it's done in ignorance this time."
But so that this act my ne'er be diminished,
He lifted His eyes and said, "It is finished."
