Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

Bratwurst Broccoli Bake recipe

5 links bratwurst
1 bag frozen broccoli florets
1 finely chopped onion
4 cloves minced garlic
2 TBS Dale's seasoning
1 TBS cajun seasoning
1 cup rice
2 cups chicken bone stock
6 oz cream cheese
1 pint heavy cream
grated parmesean cheese
Shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 350*
Cut the bratwurst into bite sized pieces, and cook in a large pot with the defrosted broccoli, garlic, and Dale's seasoning until the bratwurst are cooked through.
In a separate pot, cook the rice in the chicken stock on medium-low heat with the lid on until all the stock is absorbed by the rice. Turn off the burner and let the pot stand with the lid on for 5 minutes.
Blend the cream cheese and heavy cream together. Add this to the broccoli and bratwurst. Thicken with grated parmesean cheese so that it's not watery.
Mix the broccoli and bratwurst with the rice and pour into a greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheese and bake at 350* for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
