Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.

The Lady The Lord Is Looking For book review

The Bible asks a question in Proverbs 31:10- Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. If God put this question in the Bible it must mean that it is hard to find this type of woman. In Ecclesiastes, Solomon says he couldn't find one among a thousand!
If you are honest with yourself you will see that the female disposition is very manipulative and conniving. Women can be much more heartless and selfish than men. To become a virtuous woman we must go against our natural fleshly sin nature.
Cathy Corle wrote an amazing book on this subject entitled The Lady The Lord Is Looking For. As the author goes through Proverbs 31, she has you take a good look at what things this chapter states make up a virtuous woman. What does it take for a woman to be viewed as more valuable than rubies?
If you find yourself questioning whether you are a virtuous woman, or if you wonder what it takes to be considered a virtuous woman, you will find some guidance in your study of Proverbs 31 and the virtuous woman written about therein.
