Each moment of my life I will face one day
As each and every action goes on display.
They're all written down without partiality,
An account of my life awaits in eternity.
What does my resume say?
Commitments and choices that I have made,
Dreams and desires on time's pages laid-
Charitable acts, and selfish ambitions,
Every deed, every thought, and every decision.
What will my resume say?
Material objects, and worldly possessions,
Money, position, and personal satisfactions,
Relationships, friendships, and every enemy-
My history book records each activity.
What does my resume say?
Trials and troubles around every bend.
Burdens which consume me to no end.
Faith and hope sometimes drain away;
It seems new battles erupt every day.
What does my resume say?
When I stand before God to give an account,
When my book is opened, my secrets let out,
Will I stand embarrassed and bow my head?
No riches of grace, just worldly pursuits read?
What will my resume say?
Did I waste my life full of selfish pride
While my spiritual man slowly starved inside?
What was done for Christ is all that will matter;
None of my accomplishments- former or latter!
What will my resume say?

I'm a King James Bible believing sinner saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ! I was raised by a good mother and I went to a KJV church growing up. I am a mother of 5 lovely children and am married to a crazy Cajun for 20 years now! I think bow ties are cool, and grey hairs are like tinsle for your head. I admire those who do right no matter the cost, and wish to avoid those who would compromise the truth.
Sometimes the devil doesn't tempt us with evil; sometimes he allures us with good, distracts us with obligations, confuses us with compromise, or hinders us with business to keep us from that which is best- service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Remember, the devil always offers his best, before Christ will offer His will for your life.
